Alfonso Biggs Scholarship

The Alfonso Biggs Scholarship was established to reward the young scholarly careers of entering first-year students who will major in History at Columbus State University. The scholarship honors Mr. Biggs’ lifelong interest in academic excellence and his support for undergraduate education in the humanities and social sciences. Recipients of this prize shall be known as Biggs Scholars.

Awarded to a deserving high school student, majoring in History, who has been accepted into the CSU first-year class and demonstrates outstanding academic achievement, skills and interest in history, the potential to contribute to the collegiate environment, and financial need.
