The Outstanding Freshman Chemistry Award

This Outstanding Freshman Chemistry Major Award is awarded to one Freshman chemistry major. This award provides a $1000 annual gift ($500 each for Fall and Spring semesters). Eligible students must have completed CHEM 1211/1211L (with a grade of C or higher) and be enrolled in CHEM 1212/1212L during Spring. This scholarship is selected by the department faculty and no application is necessary. Qualified students will be reviewed, one will be selected, and announced during Spring semester funds will be available the following academic year.
